Child and Youth Development Services

Provides assessments as well as education and assistance to children and youth who require support.
The Cariboo Chilcotin Child Development Centre provides assessments as well as education and assistance to children who require extra support in areas of physical, socio-emotional, communication and cognitive development. The following services are offered at no cost:
  • Infant Development
  • Support Child Development
  • FASD and Other Complex Behavioural Conditions
  • Speech and Language Therapy
  • Early Intervention Occupational Therapy
  • Early Intervention and School Age Physiotherapy
  • Family Support Programs
  • Intensive Support and Supervision
  • Youth Forensic Psychiatric Services
  • Youth Navigator Services
Full program descriptions are listed in the CCCDCA handbook. Support to 100 Mile House children will also be delivered for some of the programs.

Details: Anyone may request service for a child (birth to 18 years) as long as the legal guardian is aware of the request.
